| Your bike should be adjusted to and fit you as its rider sensibly. Being on a bicycle that is not comfortable or is difficult to ride is like taking a long walk without sensible shoes. Your bike will need to reliably get you there and back, so it is wise to have it checked or check it yourself before a ride. If you become miserable or stranded, then where is the fun in that?.
