WELCOME

Beauty is everywhere.  We must simply be willing to recognize and appreciate it.  It is especially important to recognize the power of the beauty within ourselves.

Inspiring the journey to the cultivation of the human spirit, Bike Ravinia encourages you to experience the beauty of riding places under your own power, of a summer’s day, of beautiful surroundings, of a meal among friends, of passionate orchestral music, of a sunset in the park, of the night air, the night’s sky, and of the sheer adventure of being part of a parade of well-lit bicycles returning home as one contiguous group after a wonderfully fun and enjoyable day.

Experiences such as these train us by healthy example in the practice of non-violence in the midst of imagery to the contrary on our televisions, in our media, in our music lyrics and in our children’s games.  We are what we practice.  Let us all practice kindness, understanding, compassion and peace.  Let us all practice in the most powerful force of all – love.
